Drywall Beads (Stopping Beads)

Our PVC drywall beads and stopping beads are specially designed to be fast and easy to cut and fix on all plasterboard walls that have stopping beads applied for tape and joint or skim plaster. They are faster to fix than metal as they are simply stapled to the plasterboard, and quicker and safer to cut with no sharp edges. PVC beads and trims reduce impact damage by dissipating knocks, and the finish looks great.

Application

PVC corner beads (external angles) are used to provide a clean, straight edge and protection from impact on external corners of plasterboard at window and door reveals, concealed beams and bulkheads or any other 90° angle external corner.  They are particularly suited to bathrooms, kitchens and pool enlosures as they are guaranteed not to rust or stain.

Packing

PVC drywall corner beads and trims come in the following pack size:

50 no x 2.5m lengths in fibreboard boxes.

Fixing

PVC drywall corner beads (external angle beads) can be fixed with staples or nail clouts through the wing into the plasterboard. The use of stainless steel mechanical fixings will prevent staining during lengthy drying out periods in damp conditions.

Nominal Skim Depth

Designed to take the minimum amount of jointing compound and up to 2mm of skim plaster.
